Our Band is a traditional concert band comprised of amateur musicians of all ages.  We are a non-profit organization based in Barrhaven, Ontario, a south-western suburb of Ottawa.

The GCCB community band featuring musicians of all ages and backgrounds brought together to serve the eastern Ottawa. We are a non-profit organization, offering both free private concerts to many seniors’ residences in Ottawa and public concerts at many community events.

Nepean Concert Band

The Nepean Concert Band (NCB) has performed for residents of the National Capital Region for close to 40 years.  The NCB musicians enjoy playing a diverse repertoire which might include marches, popular fare such as folk, Big Band and Broadway selections, classical transcriptions and contemporary titles.

The repertoire of the band ranges from classical to popular, including “big band”, jazz, show music, and military marches. The band’s active members span all ages and backgrounds.

We are a group of trad music players who play for contra dances. Fun + community oriented! Play tunes that are wickedly awesome for dancing, focusing on a diverse and uniquely contra-oriented repertoire.   Contra Dancing was all the rage in 1800.

Ottawa Valley Massed Air Cadet Band

The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is a national youth program aimed at developing attributes of good citizenship, leadership, physical fitness and an interest in aviation in Canadian youths. There are many cadet squadrons across Ottawa and Gatineau, but throughout the year musicians from these squadrons frequently come together to perform en masse at community events such as local festivals and holiday parades.

Polished Brass Quintet

The Polished Brass is an Ottawa based quintet that has been entertaining diverse audiences for over 15 years.  Our music covers the spectrum from classical to folk, show tunes, seasonal and sacred music, dixieland, swing and other light jazz.

Samba Ottawa is a community percussion group of about 20 musicians. We play and sing Samba, Maracatu, Samba-Reggae, and other Brazilian and Afro-Latin rhythms.

Seaway Winds is a non-profit Concert Band based in Cornwall Ontario. We are a diverse group of people from the rural areas of  Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry counties, the greater Cornwall area, and beyond, and offer an aesthetic listening experience for the community at large.

Sons of Scotland PIPE Band

The Sons of Scotland Pipes and Drums, formed in 1896, is the oldest civilian pipe band in Canada. This year marks the 119th anniversary of the Band.
The Band is dedicated to playing and preserving Highland bagpipe music and performs at numerous yearly events including local festivals and parades throughout southern Ontario and Quebec.

Two Beats Ahead Jazz Band

This 20 piece ensemble, led by Brian Asselin, plays Latin, jazz and rock style pieces arranged for the standard instrumentation of a stage band (saxophone, trombone, trumpet, piano, bass, guitar, drums). This New Horizons organization focuses on providing the community with the opportunity to practice and perform in a band setting.
